It's brutal. Me and my big ugly head, just out of the shower in the AM in this particular case no less, playing my songs, warts and all. I'll probably do a retake of this song, with my buddy Anthony on acoustic lead. I can hear organ in there too. Some day.<br /><br />I wrote this probably ten years ago, maybe in Texas at the Kerrville Folk Festival. I can't remember, but I wrote a lot of songs around then. Like The Dog Song below it's slated to be on my next CD, <i>Bikini Blues</i> (working title), due out some time next year. (Precise, huh?) The Yamaha I got at a garage sale for $50 in Colorado, wandering around Elizabeth with my sisters Nancy and Jayne in 2003.
